Mashups

Well, I think a mashup being an interactive web application will serve the needs well of a specific client group. I like the concept of Google Maps and Flickr where we can mash photos taken at particular places around the world.
The concept of the mashups is good in this regard eg you can search a map and click on the dot and it will reveal photos of something that one is particularly looking for and show its location.
I think mashup is great for advanced uses of pc's. But. at this stage I am particularly looking towards doing more training at work for pc's beginners, intermediates etc. which I think may exclude mashups protem.
But there will come a time very soon where we will all advance onto the next level of offering this type of service, and I hope to have enough knowledge to give instruction in this.
One interesting article I read on mashups is that care needs to be taken regarding intellectual property. Someone may find their information posted on a mashup "hey, how did that get there? I wrote that!!". Cheers all.
